Hi.

Recently, I've been working and going to school. It seems crazy rushing from one place to another. My schedule has been a frenzy. I really hope Feb will be a better month because our prelims are in March.

My friend and I are currently attending a kayaking course called Level 1. Instead of feeling like a little kid, I feel more adult. Maybe because it's a coaching course. Rescuing is a challenge for some of us. But hopefully after learning the proper technique we might be able to execute it. I'm so worried..............dotzzzzzz

Just now, at JBAC, after see-saw-ing the kayak, ants as big as my thumbnail started to escape from the cockpit. Some managed to go on my shirt. DISGUSTING I TELL YOU! I FEEL LIKE STRIPPING AND KILLING ALL THOSE ANTS! But, being me, as usual, I kelp calm. K bluff. I was squirming lor. Eeyer.

Anyway, I'm done reading Shopaholic Goes Abroad. I love it! I want to be like Becky without the financial problem. Very fashionable and witty. Love it!

Oh, we will be playing in another competition. See how it goes. Bleh.

Hello. This week was crazy! 

Monday went to work at JBAC, drove the leafy boat. Its called leafy boat because it used to be filled up with dried leaves. The engine worked at first but spoilt at the end of the day. It's not me ok. It's the engine. It's old! 

On Wednesday..WE WENT TO TANJUNG LEMAN LA SIOL! See? See? I'm beginning to type like a minah. At first, I had a foreboding feeling about this trip. Thought it was gg to be boring as compared to the first time we went. BUT, IT TURNED OUT TO BE MORE FUN LA SIOL! See? See? Minah moment again. First day, we visited the fruit farm. I wore my new New Balance shoes and dirtied it. Its ok. Looks better now ya know. I think we visited the place when we were in primary 6. I remember learning how to bag the fruits and harvest it. Then we went to the place where the mentally disabled stay. It was a heartwarming experience looking at them being happy to see us. They waved and welcomed us. I can see it through their eyes.

One of them talked to me. She asked if I'm Siti, and asked if I am an "Ah Neh". I replied her that I am Nab and that I am a Malay. She told me her age and after that conversation, I don't understand what she was saying. They were really friendly. The old folks home, one uncle used his hands and "shoot" me. I dont know why. He "bang bang" me siol. Haha. Young boy's mind in an old man's body I guess. Another uncle was tearing up, maybe he was touched that we came. The kids were there to decorate the place to make it more lively since the festive season is around the corner. They also gave them the fruits they got from the fruit farm. So nice of them right. Fortunate kids, hope they really learn from what they saw there.

On Thursday and Friday, the WATER SPECIALIST, which means US, worked! The waves at Tanjung Leman seemed the same, but rougher, plus the strong wind and slight drizzle. All of us were to 'kiddy ride' the kids on a double open deck kayak. Instructor behind, one kid in front. I tell you, it was so satisfying to see the kids happy faces after the ride and when they thanked you and tell their friends of their experience. But I always feel guilty after every capsize. The kids were so brave, even though they capsized, they still can smile and tell me it was fun! Actually, capsizing is fun la. Being under the boat and all. Drinking salt water. Haha. I swear each one of us got better at steering the kayak after all those rides with the kids. The speed we went along the waves, I really dont know how to describe, it's better than roller coaster la. Haha. Just that, you are the one controlling the kayak. Small mistake and you capsize!

I learned how to assure the kids who were scared. Imagine kayaking and you see a wall of waves in front of you. The kids screamed, but I told them it's ok and that we are all here to save them! (Actually, during the very first time I went, I screamed together with the kid who were with me, both of us were so scared, but knowing that I was the instructor, I calmed down and everything went alright!) Some kids were too light their butt lifted up, as in their whole body were lifted when they hit the waves. Cooool right. And usually they giggled. Ok, I am generalising. Most giggled, some turned around and looked at me as if asking me, "are we really gg to go up further?" So cute. Really, so shiok. 

And YESTERDAY! i went to school. got corporate finance class. AFTER THAT, HAZ RURU AND I WENT TO SEE FOSTER THE PEOPLE LA SIOL! WE STOMPED ON PEOPLE'S FEET, JUMPED AROUND LIKE KIDS. but seriously, at some point of time, i felt that i am too old for all of these. BUT ITS OK! WHO CARES RIGHT AS LONG AS YOU CAN SEE THEM PERFORM LIVE! WE GOT TO THE SECOND ROW YA KNOW! but none of us brought a proper camera. BUT STILL, WE MANAGED TO MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH HIM. Haha. Perasan la pulak. Ok. Enough. BYES!

New Year!

Hi.

It's already 2012. On new year's day, my friend and I went to learn how to use the 'Playboat'. What is playboat? Its doing some stunts in a small boat, using a same-feathered paddle. It's so cool! We learnt how to double pump, do a clean spin bow stall and stern stall. Doing a clean spin makes you look possessed. Imagine sitting on a boat and rocking your body either clockwise or anti-clockwise to turn the boat. It looks funny. But when we accomplished it, it feels gooood. I think girls need to turn more rounds to complete a turn. Haha.

Double pump makes you look like a mermaid trying to get away from a net. I dont know why, but to me, it looks like it. Haha. It's so tiring to do that. Bow-stall can be done only after 3 years of training as mentioned by the coach. I want to practice bow stall! As for stern stall....haha. That's my favourite move because I can almost get it thanks to canoe polo. Its like the advance stern dip. So its simpler to do! I strongly recommend people playing canoe polo to learn playboat. Its so fun and cool! Can do flips on the boat and all. Im sure they can learn much faster.

At the start of the playboat, we were required to do a roll to get us familiar with the boat. And guess who ejected out of the boat? Haha. Me! Haiz. Tried paddle roll and cant come out after trying 3 times. But its ok man.

On the second day of new year, the SIM junior girls went to play their first competition. Not bad siol! Considering that they only played for a few months.

And, just now, I went to work at JBAC. The engine's cooling water was not working and after anchoring the boat, I saw a lizard staring at me. Lucky no man overboard. Whatever la.

And, this weekend, The Water Kutus are supposed to play in the opens category in NTU. But now, I dont know if its going to happen or not. I really hope we can play together. But whatever happens, all I can do is let it be. Lesson learnt.

It's the last day of 2011.

It has been a great year this year!

I'm happy to have a family by side, going through my ups and downs together.

I'm happy to have friends who were with me throughout the year.

I'm happy I got to experience something I never experienced before. Like breaking of a finger, breaking down of train, of me breaking into pieces when I got back my results and not being able to watch the first hour of Breaking dawn due to the breakdown of train. I didnt get to see Bella and Edward walk down the aisle or listen to Christina Perri's "A thousand years". Its ok.

I really hope 2012 will be a better year for everyone! I am so looking-forward to it!

Due to a high demand from my fans to update my blog, here I am! With a video! It's another Christina Perri cover! With my friend, Fadhil, who is now serving the nation. All the best in NS! He is a good singer and a good friend. In the original song, during the chorus, there is a guy singing with Christina Perri with a monotonous voice. Since I am naturally like that, Fadhil allowed me to sing along with him! Haha. "I have died everyday, waaaaiting for you." Video is not so clear. We actually used 2 cameras. The main camera is Fadhil's and the edited video is with him. So, this is the raw video! Too bad you cant see our faces! k. 

Back to my obsession with Christina Perri. Being me, I don't really like slow sentimental songs. But, after listening to her, my heart opens up and I begin to accept and appreciate these kind of songs. Mostly Christina Perri's songs. She's so cool. Her voice so husky. Her bassist also another one. Cool keper. I want to be like them. Typing about cool, we watched a few performances by Claire and Zsa at The Concourse at Esplanade. These 2 women also cool. Cool cool cool. My adjectives not strong ar. Need to brush up.

So...whats there to update about me? I have been eating pizzas. 3 weeks ago, Skinny Pizza with members, last last week, Peperoni's with ODAC, last week, Pizza Hut with Fadhil and Ryan. Dominos next week anyone? Haha. 

New Year in a few weeks! 

Did I update that I'm going to play a competition with a team called The Water Kutus? Well, I just did! We didn't really train much together. One member backed out. And my best friend(whom I am about to disown  and I don't know what to do in this kind of situation someone please help me talk some sense to my best friend before I really disown her and to my best friend, if you are reading this please do some self-reflection, thanks for reading whatever is inside the bracket) told me that she might be taking level one during that period, I really have no comment. 

Whatever. Haha.

OH, YOU KNOW WHAT? OVER THE WEEKENDS, I DID A MISTAKE. I COULDN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SATURDAY AND SUNDAY WHICH CAUSED SOME INTERNAL PROBLEMS WITH THE SOCIETY I AM IN. I FELT SO REGRETFUL TO KNOW THAT I AM THAT CARELESS. Lesson learnt: Always read test messages when I am alone, and when my mind is peaceful. So many things happening and I can't handle it. I need a handlebar. K no link.

Sunday: Kayaked from Sembawang to the west of Pulau Ubin with the Zealous Kayakers. Cool name keper. We saw a tangled snake. Paddled with this cute boy who fell asleep on the kayak. So cute la!
Monday and Tuesday: Worked at Jbac.
Wednesday: Cycled at Pulau Ubin. Dangerous like F(x) Pinocchio. Chare chare cha. Tare tare taaa. You know anot? Im quoting a song from this girl band called F(x).
Thursday: Kayaked at Jbac. More like training la. Learnt the proper way to do paddle roll. And got some tips from the pro. Haha. She even got her signature move! So cool la! Maybe I shall try. Haha. *get ball, capsize, eject out* MY SIGNATURE MOVE! Haha.
Friday: MM class. Can die. Lost. And here I am suppose to be studying but...

Next week, we'll be going to a place called Tanjung Leman! Wheeee. K bye.

Upstairs is a video of me trying to copy Zee Avi again. The book of Morris Johnson. Copycat, kiss the rat go home let your mother slap! I've been listening to this song almost everyday. This song must be a must to start of the day to set the right mood. I figured out the riff, but then, it doesnt sound similar. Haha. So I didnt play it. Embarrassing ar. Haha.

How's life? The same. Work, school. It's been a month since I went water training. I think I forgot how to enter a kayak already. How ar? I think I also forgot what is Pandan Reservoir. Is it a loaf of bread? Or a main dish? Kk. Enough. Nonsense.

Just now Wandin and I crashed Macro lecture. It feels so good to hear the lecturer's voice again. At least she makes more sense the the current one. We are more engaged in the lecture. Unlike the other one, we kept on stoning. Haiz.

Oh! My cousin got married! Not only her, my friends too. Congratulations! Finally they are all married happily. I feel so happy for them. My mum also. She almost lost my camera! But together we lived happily ever after. Except for Nab, who is still in the quest of finding her true love. Hahahahha.

Oh! (part2) We ran 10km in the nike run. But, my friend and I walked. Haha. Claustrophobic. Many people wearing the same colour doing the same motion. You know? Our timing is 1h 40mins. hahaha. Long keper.

Hi.

My friend and I kayaked from Sembawang to Changi and Changi to Sembawang with PA Water Venture people. A total of 37km. Actually, we kayaked longer lor. Imagine running that distance. I think I will die. First day, we reported late. Someone cant find her booties. Haha. When we arrived at the meeting point, everyone looked ready. All geared up. Except us. Haha. We kayaked about 6hours. Saw fishes flying, birds swimming. Aeroplane on the water, kayak in the air.

Made friends by banging into each other's kayaks. Haha. Splash water here and there. Quite fun la. The people are the happy people. Really happy one. Friendly one. Ask them anything and they will answer you. Logical or not, they will still answer. Haha. Best part is always at the Y channel where the water is more choppy. Plus the wind and the bumboat's waves. Shiok. Fun = Water splashing at the front person as we ride the wave. Not fun = Back person having to bail the water out. Throughout this expedition, we were in doubles kayak, my friend in front, I'm at the back. Because I'm heavier. So, my view is always my friend's back. And if the wind is blowing towards the right side, every stroke she takes, water will splash into my face. Haha. It's ok. Hahahaha. Sometimes I can just stop paddling without her knowing and add on resistance by placing both hands in the water. Haha.

At night, we had bbq. At this time, we cant recognise anyone because they were dry and not wearing a cap or anything that cover their faces. So its like a re-introduction. Haha. There's this lady who bbq most of the food. I think she did well. Because, I ate them all and I like it! Hahaha. Perangai budak gemok(fat kid attitude). The highlight has got to be the baked potatoes with butter. I know. Fat liao. But who cares. Good food belongs in the stomach. And we had dessert after that. Haha. Enjoyszx.

I typed too much. Nevermind. Keep on typing. We slept on our sleeping bag instead of inside it. Too warm la. End up got bitten by the mosquitoes. Eat potatoes got bitten by mosquitoes. Then the wart on my toe so pain. Kena my toe.

2nd day. The same as first day. Except we were against the current. Oh. I cant believe they actually spread the bread for us! Yummy. So kayaking still the same. Except that I did bailing of water more often. Thanks to my friend who enjoys sprinting into the big waves. Haha. Also. We tried to do roll in doubles. But failed. One day, we will achieve it! We ALMOST come up in our first try la. Haha. Resulted in red eyes. Like that lor. Bye.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

So, it was the first day of school just now. Nothing new. I was late, it was raining, missed a few buses due to the overwhelming number of students, no seats in the lecture room, had to squeeze in the middle to get a seat, copied notes, no foolscap paper, found out my sister took away my eraser, canceled and scribbled on my notes. The module is called mathematics management and we did set theory. Reminds me of our first lesson in Additional Maths when we were in secondary 3. I still remember what a complement means. Now that I'm taking maths after 4 years of not touching it, I feel revived. Like Voldemort only. Should have joined engineering or something and do more maths. Haha. But like what J.Lo said in the song I'm into You, "It's too late, it's too late". K.

It's only the first lesson. Who knows I might hate maths in the subsequent lectures. Haha. It's too late. It's too late. Uh huh. I miss doing A Maths with Haz and Zyon. I miss my A Maths notebook. I remember we had 2. I threw both away thinking I wont be in touch with maths ever again. But I was wrong. It's too late. It's too late. It's ok.

Just now, went Bugis with member. Wanted to eat at this place called caramel cafe, but it was closed. Why? Because, it's too late, it's too late. Haha. So we ended up eating at a vegetarian restaurant selling fake meat called Roma Deli at Shaw Tower. Food was ok. But member didnt finish her food. Haha. Sausage melted in our mouths. Nice meh? I dont think I will recommend that place to anyone. 2NE1 eh eh eh eh eh eh eh 2NE1!

Ok. I ate alot lately. Yesterday we ate the whole pot of my mum's rendang. Haha. Should I run before going to school tomoz? See how la. Lazy siol.

So, I tried copying Zee Avi and this is how far I can get. Haha. I know. CMI. I cant sing ok.

Yesterday, we went JB! I tried Shihlin Taiwan Snacks thingy since its not halal in Singapore. I tell you, the egg crepe thing is soooooo nice! But the mee sua, Thai Express' is better. Actually, what is mee sua? How come the Thai one and the Taiwan one different? See see. Thai one and Taiwan one. HAHAHA. Taiwanwan and Thaiwan. K. Stop it ok. There's a new mall called KLS. Got halal breadtalk! Next time must try. So jakun. 

Oh, Thai Express changed all the plates and bowls to glass. Its heavier and more time consuming. We cant carry all the plates all at one go but have to make 2 trips instead because the weight is unbearable. I think whoever think that its a better idea should increase our pay. And working hours should be lesser since we'll be too tired clearing the tables. Haha.

Ok. School starting on Thursday. Haiz. Repeat modules. Stay back one more year. I think my uncle who came just now look down on me. He asked my mum if I'm still schooling. Where I'm working and all. How come didnt go school. Make me sound like a dropout. The only thing missing is me getting married and having kids. Haha. K stereotyping my own race. Get the joke anot? Ok its ok. Thai one and Taiwan one.

I'm proud to announce that..my friend and I completed 6km without stopping! (ok, we stopped for awhile to get a cup of water) But we didn't stop after that! Whee! Prison run completed! Got medal! I dont know why am I typing with exclamation marks! We shall keep up and keep on running! I hope we did it under 1hour. Yeahhhh.

So, yesterday Ros and I went to see The Wanted's private showcase. Private meh? So many screaming girls. Ros and I were placed somewhere at the back, if we were to put our hands in the air, people behind might be scolding us. Haha. 2 of the guys stripped! I dont know which 2. Ros and I are big fans of Siva! (See, exclamation mark again) (apparently we only know Siva because his features are so distinct) Throughout the showcase, I can tell we cant stop looking at him. He's so perfect. He cast a spell on me, spell on me. K k. And we had dunch(dinner and lunch). ANDDD. I HAD MY 3RD CUP OF MCLFURRY. 3RD CUP CONSECUTIVELY. Niceeeeeeeeeeee. ANNND, I bought DRYbag. Haha. Not waterbag. For $25. Neon green. Getting ready for our 2D1N expedition next weekend! So excited!

Kbye. Going JB with the canoepolo people tomoz. Fun fun fun. But I malay. You know? Everything must follow where I eat because need to be halal. Haha. But they are easygoing. But, sometimes, its best not to follow. But i want to follow. But its also best to let people have freedom to choose where they want to eat. Want want want the wanted! I'm glad you came.

FAT

Hi.

I'm fat. Went to H&M again just now with a friend. Walked around looking at clothes wishing that we have the money money money to buy them. It's quite affordable. But. I dont wear dresses or sleeveless. Sooo..limited items for me to choose. Maybe I shall try them out. Maybe. See how. After walking there, we bought $1 ice cream with alot of peanut. Went to Sephora and....hahaha. I saw my ex-rugby coach. Been so long since we met siol.

Anyway we had lunch/dinner and ate Horlicks Mcflurry AGAIN! I ate it yesterday and it tasted like heaven. Today, I felt like I stepped into heaven once again. SO nice la! Who knows I may visit heaven for real for eating too much ice-cream. Kbluff.

To end the night, we met up with another friend and we had...ICE CREAM SODA! Haiz. Too much sugar liao la.

Annnddd. Tomoz, must go jogging. Prepare myself for Sunday's prison run. Haha. Fun run ok. So, we'll be having fun while running.. 6km. No kick to some people. But that distance confirm got kick for us. Haha.

2weeks ago, I made friends with a colleague who is partially deaf. But he left. :( He taught me how to show some basic sign language. At work, there is a mute and hearing impaired colleague. I find it hard to understand him when we tried to communicate. So, I took the opportunity to learn from him when we have the time so we can communicate better. So far, I learnt how to say A to Z. Ok sorry. Not say, show. Last time, I learnt Monday to Sunday in Tamil. But guess what? I cant remember any now. Haha. Loser. So, I hope to remember whatever I learnt and apply. Same to my studies. But I failed 2 modules. Must constantly remind myself that I failed to make me motivated.

Anyway, sign language is so cool. Unspoken words that can be understood by only some people. Like a code. But facial expression plays a big role. I noticed that my colleague has a lot of facial expressions. I think I fail at sign language. Most of the people I know told me that I have no expression. I wonder what my colleague thinks of me. I wonder how he describe me in sign language. Maybe he will make a blank face. I dont know. So far he describes the most prominent feature of a person. Like hairy chest, moustache, pregnant, glasses, height, big or small. So fun. I want to learn more!!!!

I WISH I WAS SPECIAL

It's been so long. 2 more weeks till school reopen. Let's get ready for the new year. Not new year, new school year. I'm taking 3 modules this year and if I pass all 3, I will be taking another 3 modules for my final year. I failed 2 modules. :( So that explains why. My course should be completed by next year, but due to my imbecility I have to stay back one more year. Actually, I have a choice to take all 6 modules and graduate next year. But look at it this way, I took 4, failed 2. If take 6 how? Fail 3? How? I only have myself to blame. Mendaki, the one loaning me the funds said I breached the contract. So, must study harder. Haiz. Failure. But people say failure is the road to success. I literally fail. But that doesnt mean I'll be successful in the future. But who cares. Noone cares. Nobody cares. 

So, upstairs is a video of me singing Creep by Radiohead. My broken finger which is still healing, hurts. As you can hear, I put in alot of emotion when singing the song. HAHAHA. Luckily no string snapped while strumming the chorus part. I gave my all siolz.

Ang panggalan ko ay Nab. Ok. Those are the only 2 sentences I can speak in Tagalog. So when a Filipino visits Thai Express, I can "Kumustaka!" to them and blend in. Hahaha. Bleh. But, if they say more Tagalog, then...I will sing Bebot or The Apl Song by The Black Eyed Peas. Lapit mga kaibigan at makinig kayo (listen up y'all!) Ok. Nonsense. Did you know? I was a fan of BEP I went to their concert twice? Now you know! Once I went alone. I sat beside a parent who left her kids at home to watch BEP. Power? Yes. Haha.

New Dish from Thai Express. Prata and curry. Serious! Haven tasted it though, will try it tonight when I break fast. I heard its sweet. I love sweet things!

So. Yesterday at work, a customer made a complaint against me because they dont like my attitude. :( It went like this.

Customer: Which page is morning glory?
Me: Morning glory? What is that? We dont sell flowers here. Haha.
Customer: No, you have it in the menu. I know.
Me: Can you describe it?
Customer: (Saw the page with kangkong written on it.) Ahh, kangkong!
Me: So, kangkong in English is morning glory?
Customer: Yes
They continued ordering.
Me: So...what's tomyum and cili padi in English? Is it hibiscus and rose? Haha
Customer: (Black face), cili padi is cut chili.
Me: Ok.
Customer: Where are you from?
Me: I'm a Singaporean, why?
Customer: How come you dont know whats cili padi in English?
Me: I'm just amazed that people call kangkong morning glory here. I mean we call it kangkong even in the supermarket.
Customer: (Face angry liao)

Kangkong say kangkong la. Want to gehkiang and cause misunderstanding. Okla, maybe she was a farmer, or maybe she plays farmville or something. By the way, cili padi in English is not cut chili, it's called Bird's eye chili. Haiz. See la, gehkiang somemore. And the other aunty pronounced basil chicken as bala chicken. Wart? Dont know how to read dont read, just point to the dish. Anyway next time if customers give me funny names again, I'm just going to act all stupid and agree to them. Customers are always correct. If not, they complain. People joke, complain. People too serious, complain. People correct their mistake, complain. Never smile at them, complain. Price expensive, complain. Complain complain. 

And they complaint after paying their bill. I apologized to them for my rudeness. Seems like I have to keep on saying sorry to customers like this.

Another customer who ordered Pineapple fried rice for takeaway order. (A plate cost $9.90, not inclusive of GST and service charge)
Me: Hi Sir, here's your pineapple fried rice.
Customer: Is this the correct amount of rice for $9?
Me: Yes sir.Why?
Customer: How could you charge a high price? This price is enough to feed 2 people.
Me: Hold on ar Sir, INAAAAA!!
From there my assistant manager settled him. If I were to go on with him, I would have said, "No money dont come here and eat. Other places are charging you more."

Ok, last story. There was this incident, a customer spilled her drinks. I happened to be there serving food. She blamed me for not warning her. Wartttt? How would I know if her arms were going to hit it? Luckily she didnt complain. If not, by the end of the year, I'm going to get fired. Hahaha. 

 
Yesterday was just not a day for me to work. Usually I feel happy, but yesterday I felt agitated to the max. 

Grr.

Anyway, results are coming out soon. School will start soon too. Choosing of modules will commence soon. Soon letters from school will come.

WART THE HELL?!

Wart is that you may ask. That is a wart. A wart? A wart. Wart? Yes a wart. I googled wart and..the pictures are disgusting and it was scaring me. Mine was a mini cute little tiny almost non-existent wart. I went to the same doctor with dad, you know, that doctor I went when I got gout (Oh my Gout) and those bedbugs. Remember? Ok nevermind. So when I entered the room, doctor was like, "Wart is it this time?" Haha. No la. He greeted my dad and I with a professional smile. Can see through his eyes ya know. Now, that's communicating with your eyes. So i fell in love with the doctor. Kbluff. He told me warts are caused by virus. I better keep my toe clean and dry. Just use the solution he gave me. Ok, not gave. We bought it. The solution called Verrumal will burn the skin affected, then I have to scrap the skin off and eventually the wart will be gone. Dead and gone siol. So, I cant wait to have a perfect feet again! Not like its deformed, but you get what I mean. Yeah.

And guess wart? My ex-assistant manager will be my existing assistant manager! Yay. But....haiz. Cant put here. Bye.

It's the 11th day of Ramadhan. And the Hari Raya songs are being played on the radio. "Lebaran....bla bla bla..Lebaran...bla bla bla" You know that song? That's the only word I catch from the song. I think the tittle is most probably "Lebaran" by Siti. Duh? Haha.

So, competition ended. Judging from the words I read from twitter, people are disappointed with themselves. But, things happened, we can only learn from it. Learn and apply what we should do to make us better.

Anyway, like what Bucks always say during games, "Heads Up!"

Anyway again, I want to go Geylang Serai and eat dingding, kebab, smell the food, drink kathira, look at mats, carpet. Mats...haha. Real mats. Not mats the floor mats.

Hi.

Its the 4th day of fasting month! Bulan Ramadhan. The purest month, the month to be good. The month where all the devils are tied up. I've been working hard at work. Almost everyday. My finger on my left hand, the one that broke, is still recovering. I don't dare exert too much force everytime I carry the flask. But, just now, I used my finger twice! After the second time, I don't dare use it 100% anymore. I can feel the insides moving or something. When can I use it properly?

Haha. I better give my finger more time to recover. But its been 7months! Wow, 7months. Don't say already. This is the 7th month.

So, yesterday, ZhiYong and I went to KTV world to have fun. We shiok sendiri there. He got to drink and eat the food provided, while I STOP AND STARE...Haha. And we played at Timezone too. So fun. Breaking fast at work was troublesome. I cant enjoy the food provided. I did enjoy it la, but had to rush since it was during the busy period. Had kway teow yesterday and pineapple fried rice today. Gobbled down the food in 10mins. Unhealthy right? The food wont be digested properly.

Just now I broke my fast at 830pm. Imagine, serving those customers who came to eat dinner when you haven taste water since morning, and the customers are oblivious that you haven eat at all and they still have the cheek to tell you to make their food arrive faster because they are hungry. Haha. Hungry people, cant seem to control themselves. I was so thirsty, somemore I went training this afternoon. But its ok la. Its my job. Sabar je la eh. Haha. Tomoz I will bring dates! So I can eat them on the dot( if got time ar).

So, tomoz is our 3rd competition together. Since after exams, my team mates(we are called 'Last Warning") and I have been training very hard, not skipping a single training. We worked together as a team, one for all and all for one. Supporting each other whenever possible, making sure everyone has enough rest after training, and ensuring everyone's safety on the reservoir. Not to forget motivating each other when they are tired. Giving out advises to each other to work on our weaknesses. Handling logistics for the competition, everyone as a team, contributed equally in the taping of the boat. Exaggerated much? I dont think we did that. Well, maybe 75% of them. Haha.

So, those good players, as expected, too good to be true. Confirm win. No need training one. Those new players (are we considered new?), all the best.

So, today, I went to JBAC to learn how to fix a paddle using epoxy! It's a very messy process but with proper guidance and skilful hands, all is well. Haha. If you see my paddle, it's obvious the right side is done by the master, while the left side is done by the noob(yours truly). But it's ok. Good as new!

So, work. The manager is starting to make me work more. Expected la. Judging from the way he work, I dont think he's prepared for the worse. Working with him on Wednesday was a nightmare. So many customers, some parts were jammed. And yesterday, (he wasnt there), everything went smoothly. Except table 11. You know what? The customer was kept waiting outside for awhile because all tables are occupied. Customers are impatient people, they cannot wait. When she finally got a table, she requested weird things, like separating tables, so my colleagues (there were only 3 of us) and I, all 3 of us rearranged the tables according to her preference. In the end, she doesnt like it and we had to put it back to where it belong. So, I regarded that as a workout since I didnt go gym. Haha.

Anyway, one more thing, she shouted at my colleague! She said, "Excuse me". My colleague ignored. Then she saw that he didnt respond, she shouted louder with all her might, her lungs seemed to be coming out, "EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!!!!" And you know what? I attended to her and said, "SHUT UP AND GET OUT!" K bluff. I said, "Sorry miss, my colleague Steven is deaf and mute, are you ready to order?" So, after all the ruckus, she realised that she was causing a scene, the other customers started to stare at her. Haha. Embarrassed keper? But she turned out to be nice. You know angry customers are the happiest ones when their tummy is filled. So, if you see anyone angry, just feed them, dont worry.

It's been a week since I first started work at Thai Express since I got 'fired'. Not fired la. I was indirectly being chased out along with my other colleagues. It was past tense. So, forget it.

Work has been the same. Tiring. Customers. Nice ones, nasty ones who think they own the place. Bla bla bla you know. But it feels different without them, the 'family'. It's ok. Can start anew. But, there is something or someone that I dont feel comfortable with. Haiz. I better stay away. But be nice at the same time. Scary la ok. But but but.

Waitressing is like gymming. Except that you carry plates instead of weights. Haha. Just now I carried so much. The only missing thing is the tabata stopwatch. With that, I think I can clear 8 tables within 160seconds. Haha. Not to forget 10seconds rest(putting rubbish into the bin). Nonsense.

Best part has to be the closing. Staff meal. We had pineapple friend rice and phat Thai. Aloy! Oh! There are 2 Thai staffs here. And everytime they speak to each other, I dont know why, I was always feel like I'm watching a movie. Like some Thai horror movie. Haha. Kap kun kaaaa. Meow.

I'm going to learn some Tagalog and Thai! Forget Korean and Japanese. Overrated! Hahaha.

Ros and I went to a primary school friend birthday celebration during the weekends. Both of us thought it was going to be awkward. After donkey years of not meeting. But. We were WRONG. So, wrong lor. Always expect the unexpected. It turned out fun. K.

Soooo, Im now a waitress at Thai Express. AGAIN. At Sun Plaza. Same tables and chairs, but different management and colleagues. I miss those times where we separate ourselves into set A and set B. Like a team. I miss drinking extra chendol despite knowing that it's fattening. Fat already, eat a little bit more also no difference right? So, just now on the way into the restaurant I saw Ina my ex-assistant manager. It felt just like the old times when she called my name. "Nab!" With her high pitched voice. Haha. She got a baby! It's a girl! So small, smaller than my carebear siol.

Sooo, work. So far so good. People are nice. I want to learn Tagalog. Kumusta?

Soo, today, the back of my head keep on throbbing. I dont know why. Is there a heartthrob nearby or something? K. 1:44am. Better stop typing. Goodnight, beautiful.

My new phone's screen got problem. Haiz. Nab + Phone = Spoilt phone. I think there's an electricity in me that can absorb the power of handphone to function properly.

On land, people sitting at the sidelines are called the 'bench-warmers'. On water, my canoe polo friend call them, 'water-coolers'. HAHA. Funny keperrrrr. Macaaaaaam? Duduk tepi keper?

Last week was nothing but enjoyment. Till I went training/friendly. Haha. From Monday to Thursday, I went to work at JBAC. I met many new people and new creatures on the sea! On Monday and Tuesday there was a first aider accompanying me on the boat. We saw a snake gliding on the sea. And, I caught a crab using an anchor cable. Cool or what? Unfortunately, the crab got away. On Wed and Thurs, I stayed overnight there. It was crazy. A teacher who went on board with me complimented my driving skills! Haha. I think ever since I have to drive teachers around, I improved my driving. Because they are usually on board to take pictures. So I have to ensure safety and at the same time let them take nice shots. I admit that it was scary to drive so close to the kayaks and not colliding with them. But, since I am so skillful, fret not! Haha. (please stay humble can?) Sekali, the next time I drive, I bang into kelong eh. Haha. Choy.

Friendly/training. Okla. It's getting serious. I skipped trainings to go to work eh. But who cares right. But still, I need to be responsible for my own actions and not leave a burden to people who wants to achieve something. But, some people really dont care and really give a burden to some people even though they promised to stay committed. But there are others who makes use of others to make themselves feel good even though they dont really have to. But they still do it. But still, too much but is also a problem. But then again, a promise is a promise right. Omg, I'm giving too much excuses. And, I'm not that good at that sport. I'm never good at anything. Be it hockey, rugby, or canoe polo. See, I tried many sports. All fail. I think I better stick to staying at home and being a loser. (emo mode.HAHA)

So. I got a new phone. And it's faulty. Is it me or all the phone I receive MUST have a problem. This sucks. I think I better stick to traditional means like writing a letter to communicate. Or better, use Morse code. Haiz. I'll be working back at Thai Express soon. They need people. Here I am. HAIZ. What kind of life am I leading man.
